My Journey with Technology
For this assignment, I created an Excel spreadsheet designed to help educators track student Smarter Balanced Assessment scores efficiently and consistently. Because I am pursuing Elementary Education, I built my template around the five sections of the Smarter Balanced Assessment — reading, writing, listening, research, and math. The main sheet includes columns for student name, grade level, date of assessment, and a score column for each of the five sections. To make the tool practical for a real school setting, I also created separate tabs set up for three individual educators, so each teacher can enter their own class scores without disrupting anyone else's data.
